K-6/K-7 Base Camp Trek

K6 & K7 Peaks are two prominent peaks located in the Karakoram mountain range of Pakistan.

The journey towards the K7 and K6 base camps encompasses the stunning river Charakusa. The stretch between K7 base camp and Spangsar is regarded as a mountaineer’s paradise, replete with a variety of mountains and rock walls. Without a doubt, this expedition promises a thrilling experience.

K6: also known as Baltistan Peak, is the 23rd highest mountain in the world, with an elevation of 7,282 meters (23,891 feet). It is located in the Central Karakoram National Park, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The mountain was first climbed in 1977 by a Japanese expedition team.

K7: also known as Masherbrum, is the 22nd highest mountain in the world, with an elevation of 7,282 meters (24,251 feet). It is located in the Hushe Valley, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The mountain was first climbed in 1957 by a British expedition team.

Both peaks are known for their steep and challenging climbing routes, which attract mountaineers from around the world. They are also known for their striking beauty, with sharp ridges and jagged peaks that tower over the surrounding landscape. The Karakoram mountain range is a popular destination for adventure tourism, and K6 and K7 are two of its most iconic peaks.
