Changi Tower

The peak is surrounded by other towering mountains and glaciers, and the view from the summit offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape. Changi Tower is a popular destination for experienced climbers seeking a new challenge, with many technical routes that require advanced skills and equipment. The first successful ascent of Changi Tower was made by a Japanese team in 1979, and since then, it has become a popular destination for climbers from around the world. The surrounding area is also home to other impressive peaks and natural wonders, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers.

The Spanish team on Amin Brakk, set up Base Camp on the 26th June at 4300m, further up the Nangma Valley from the glacier branch leading to Amin Brakk. From there they then tackled a line on the East Face of the multi-summited and somewhat complex 5820m Changi Tower.
