The tower was first climbed in 1977 by a British-American team, and since then, many climbers have attempted to reach its summit, with varying degrees of success. Despite its difficulty, the tower’s stunning beauty and the sense of achievement it provides for those who conquer it make it a coveted destination for many experienced climbers.
