Khosar Gang Expedition

Technically Khosar Gang 6040m Climbing Expedition is a rather easy climb with crossing the ice with little rocks presents  some difficulties, a brilliant introduction to high-altitude mountaineering. Climbing khosar gange calls for a spirit of adventure, strength, determination and a sense of humour. The months of  June, July, August and September are generally thought to be the best times for climbing on Khosar Gang. The weather is usually quite settled. Sunshine and clear blue skies can be expected on more than 70% of days. And this is the one of the easiest, not much technical and dangerous climb to experience and get train for high altitude mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Islamabad international airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 2

Fly to Skardu (In case weather not support Drive from Islamabad – Chilas)

Day 3

Skardu sightseeing or (Drive from Chilas – Skardu) Skardu briefing in Ministry of Tourism & final preparation

Day 4

Jeep to Sildi village of Shigar Valley and Trek to Base Camp

Day 5

5-10 Climbing Days

Day 6

Trek back to Base Camp and Drive to Skardu

Fly from Skardu to Islamabad
