Laila Peak Trek

The Laila Peak trek is a popular trekking destination in Pakistan, located in the beautiful Hushe Valley of the Karakoram range. The trek is a moderate to strenuous level trek and usually takes around 12 days to complete. The trek starts from the village of Hushe and passes through various mountainous terrain, scenic valleys, and glacial rivers.

The main highlight of the Laila Peak trek is reaching the base camp of the stunning Laila Peak, which stands at a height of 6,096 meters. This magnificent peak is one of the most popular peaks for mountaineering and offers a stunning view from its base camp.

The trekking route also offers magnificent views of the surrounding peaks, including Masherbrum, K6, K7, and others. The trek also takes you through the scenic Hushe Valley, where you can experience the local culture, customs, and hospitality of the Balti people.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival in Islamabad Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Islamabad to Skardu Early morning flight to Skardu or drive to Skardu on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) and stay at a hotel in Skardu.
Day 3 :
Skardu to Hushe Depart from Skardu by jeep to reach Hushe village. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse.
Day 4 :
Packing & Preparation Day
Day 5 :
Hushe to Saicho Begin trekking towards Saicho. We will camp at Saicho and enjoy the views of Mashabrum and other peaks.
Day 6 :
Saicho to Dalzampa Trek from Saicho to Dalzampa campsite. We will enjoy the beautiful views of Laila Peak during the trek.
Day 7 :
Dalzampa to Laila Peak base camp We will reach the Laila Peak base camp, set up our campsite, and rest for the day.
Day 8 :
Back to Saicho.
Day 9 :
Saicho to Hushay valley.
Day 10 :
Drive from Hushey to Skardu.
Day 11 :
Fly to Islamabad or Drive to Islamabad
Day 12 :
Transfer to Islamabad International Airport and Fly to your own designation

  • Sleeping bag and all personal expenses such as telephone calls, fax, email charges, liquor or soft drinks, room service, gratuities for personal services, and items of a purely personal nature
  • Custom clearing charges (import and export of equipment)
  • EPI gas and oxygen cylinder.
  • Any unforeseen expenses such as road block or extra hotel stay, or if members stay more days at Base Camp, then members will be charged according to the number of days.
