Rush Lake Trek

The Rush Lake trek is a popular trekking route in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, known for its stunning alpine scenery and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The trek starts in the village of Hoper, near the Hunza Valley, and takes you through the beautiful Nagar Valley before heading up to Rush Lake, which is one of the highest alpine lakes in the world, at an elevation of around 4,694 meters.

The trek is challenging and requires a good level of fitness and acclimatization to the high altitude. It typically takes around 7-8 days to complete, with stops along the way at small villages and campsites. Along the way, trekkers will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including ibex and snow leopards, as well as stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including Spantik, Malubiting, and Miar Peak.
